A Life-Saving Journey
A 20-year-old young male was brought to K-Star Hospital following a massive road traffic accident. On arrival, he was in critical shock with multiple fractures, internal bleeding within the peritoneal cavity and chest contusion. His condition required immediate multidisciplinary intervention, multiple surgeries and prolonged hospitalization.
Under the leadership of Dr. Sachin Shinde and his team, the patient underwent:
Immediate peritoneal access, surgical hemostasis, and vital organ stabilization.
Rapid decompression relieving hemothorax and respiratory distress.
Coordinated internal fixation ensuring structural restoration and limb salvage.
Round-the-clock critical surgical ICU care with hemodynamic support.
Targeted neurological rehabilitation, gait training, and progressive mobility.
